Before you apply
What happens after I apply?
We check the company details and your two trade references by hand, usually within two working days, then email you. Once approved, sign in and net pricing appears across the site.
Do I need a company registration or VAT number?
Not to apply. Both help us verify the company quickly, so include them if you have them.
Who counts as a trade reference?
Any company you currently buy from or supply on account: a merchant, a manufacturer, a supplier, or a client you have invoiced. We may contact them to confirm the relationship.
Can I order before the account is approved?
Yes. Anything on the site can be ordered at retail prices at any time. Trade pricing applies from the moment the account is approved.
How is a credit account decided?
Credit accounts are considered once a trade account is open and are subject to approval. We look at the references, the company's trading history and the limit requested, and confirm any terms in writing.
Which countries do you supply?
The United Kingdom, Germany, France, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and Canada. Delivery within the UK is free on orders over £250; international carriage is charged at the carrier's price. Orders to Europe, the UAE, the United States and Canada are delivered duty paid: import duty and local taxes are calculated and settled at checkout, so your client has nothing to pay on delivery. Prices shown outside the UK exclude UK VAT.
